A holiday a dress

Strapless Short Prom Dress by Alyce Paris

The summer (June – August) is very hot and the lightest natural fabrics will work best for holiday dresses.

The weather looks pretty quiet across much of the West Coast, but a new storm is expected to usher in valley rains, gusty winds and high-elevation snow in the Pacific Northwest — from northern California to Washington State. The West will likely face airport delays, with rain and snow continuing on into Wednesday night and relentlessly into Thanksgiving Day.

A trip to Croatia is likely to involve enjoying the fabulous beaches, so bikinis and beach wear, sarongs and kikuyu are very much the dress for the day time. For evenings, a smart-casual look will work well, and Croatian women do like their men to make an effort. If you are planning on eating out, it is worth knowing that restaurants are not that formal, but people do tend to dress up in the evenings.

If you are planning on visiting any religious sites then you must cover your shoulders, if you packed a patina, shawl for the evenings then it works well here to cover your shoulders in church.

The early evening is still traditionally the time when locals take a stroll before dinner; the ladies showing off tans in float summer dresses and guys in jeans and polo shirts. Leave your high heels at home, the cobble streets in most of the medieval towns will have your heels ruined and you hobbling around looking anything but stylish. Kitten heels are just about ok, but pretty sandals/flip K flops are definitely your best bet.
